A big thanks to Aby of abybliophileph for tagging me and I’m so sorry for the huge delay! 🙂
It took me so long to do this because of all the stuff that’s been going on, and I’m so happy I had the time to finally do this. xx
BEST BOOK YOU’VE READ SO FAR IN 2015
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
I read this book for a span of 3 weeks (and yes, I know that it’s too long) but it’s because this is an intense and a powerful one. This book made a big impact into my life, especially where it taught me how to be thankful now that I live in a modernised world instead during the world war eras. But mostly, what gave me goosebumps are the fact that this book emphasized how powerful words are. Gahh, this book just keeps on getting better and better and the last pages were the bomb.
BEST SEQUEL YOU’VE READ SO FAR IN 2015
Legend by Marie Lu
Marie Lu is a legend, I mean literally!! I love this series so much that I am planning to re-read it soon. I like this fast-paced-and-action-packed combined in one. The feeling after reading one its installment is like craving for an ice cream even after eating it already. It’s kind of addictive, I must say and I kept on fan-girling on it for so long! 🙂
NEW RELEASE YOU HAVEN’T READ YET, BUT WANT TO
After you by Jojo Moyes
This book has been sitting on my shelf for a month or two, and I don’t know why I can’t put myself in reading this one.. I think I’m not yet ready on being broken again because the first book, Me before You, totally left me devastated and crying. But I badly want to read it, but I still don’t know when. I don’t know when I’ll be ready but I’m already missing Will and Lou. 😦 🙂
MOST ANTICIPATED RELEASE FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
To be honest, I haven’t read a book of Leigh and I know it’s a shame!!! But when this book came out, there’s a lot of buzz and yup, I bought this book to know what’s all the giddiness and excitement’s all about. But sad to say, due to my compilation of TBR, I haven’t read this one as well. 😦 😦
The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
Don’t get me wrong, I like this Mara Dyer series, okay!! But the last book, is somewhat a big “WHAT?” to me. I was confused. I hope some parts were explained, and I felt that I read this whole series, yet I didn’t understand how and what and why it end up like that. AND IT’S DISAPPOINTING NOT UNDERSTANDING SOMETHING YOU WANT TO. (But I heard, another book will be released so I am hoping that on that new release, all my questions will be answered. 🙂 )
Under the Never Sky by Veronica Roth
This book is one of the best book I’ve read so far. I am quite wondering why I’ve never heard of any buzz about this book. Next to Legend, this is one of the series which I would re-read given the time. I don’t know if I’m just late in reading this one, but I think it’s one of the most underrated book. Well guys, this is a total surprise because at first, it may seemed boring but once you get used to it, you just can’t stop reading! Okay, this book is a recommendation too, because missing this book is like missing half of your life! So, go now, read this and let’s fangirl together.
FAVOURITE NEW AUTHOR (DEBUT OR NEW TO YOU)
Made You Up by Francesca Zappia
ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I’VE READ. Another book which I think is underrated. And guys, if you just happen to read this, you’ll understand why I love Francesca so much!! ❤ She’s brilliant and wonderful, and I thank her for making this book- an instant favorite. Here’s my book review for this book.
NEWEST FICTIONAL CRUSH
Divergent by Veronica Roth
Okay… HAHA, I admit that I like Four so much! I’m fangirling over him since the day I started reading this book, and I can’t wait to watch all the movies because my love for Four quadrupled when Theo James played his role. I’m inlove. But but but,
Ansel Elgort will always win my heart. ❤
NEWEST FAVOURITE CHARACTER
Wonder by R.J. Palacio
No matter how many books I read in the future, Auggie will always be my favorite among all. He’s unique, brave and one of a kind. And it’s true that he’s different among others, but it’s because he knows how to see the beauty inside of a person first before judging. I’m sure that whoever have read this book is feeling the same way as mine. 🙂 And for those who haven’t, Auggie is waiting for you.
BOOK THAT MADE YOU CRY
Loving Mr. Daniels by Brittainy Cherry
I’M LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR A HARDCOPY OF THIS BOOK BUT I FAILED AND FAILED. 😦 Just read this book and I know there’ll be no dry eyes to be spotted. This book is full of love, pain, sacrifices and I’m absolute sure that this will be a new favorite to you as well. Plus, Mr.Daniels is a total hottie and bae ❤ ❤
FAVORITE BOOK TO FILM ADAPTATION THAT YOU SEEN THIS YEAR
Love, Rosie by Cecelia Ahern
I know the movie adaptation is far far far beyond on what happened on the book but I think the movie and book is both good. Actually, I am satisfied on what the movie turned out but of course the book won my heart. But Sam Claflin played as Alex and it’s hard not to love the movie, okay. HAHA, after reading this book, I want a bestfriend badly and all the feels are on point! This book is so good. ❤
FAVOURITE REVIEW YOU’VE WRITTEN THIS YEAR
Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi
This book is actually my latest read book and I love how I poured every emotion I have in that book review. This series is actually a surprise to me too, but I have some second thoughts. Anyway, this is my book review for this one, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed making it. 🙂
MOST BEAUTIFUL BOOK YOU BOUGHT (OR RECEIVED) THIS YEAR
Magonia by Maria Dahvana Headley
This book is totally stunning! I received it from a giveaway and it’s really huge. From the instant I received it, I just keep on looking and holding it. Such a gorgeous book! Hope, I won’t be disappointed with the story too. 🙂
WHAT BOOK/S DO YOU NEED TO READ BY THE END OF THE YEAR?
I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson
I know I’m such a loser for not yet reading this but I’m really busy with school and a lot of things are going on right now and I don’t have any spare time anymore. 😦 Hopefully, I can start with this one before 2015 ends and I just can’t wait to know what everyone loves about this book!
Feel free to ignore this post if you have already done this book tag. But if you haven’t, I’d like to hear your thoughts about this. 🙂
