synopsis1

I need you to understand something. I wrote this for you. I wrote this for you and only you. Everyone else who reads it, doesn’t get it. They may think they get it, but they don’t. This is the sign you’ve been looking for. You were meant to read these words.

“And then my soul saw you and it kind of went “Oh there you are. I’ve been looking for you.”

I come across this book because it was the only black book in a shelf full of white ones, and I thought, I was meant to find this and read this. And I knew then, I was right.

“You’re just another story I can’t tell anymore.”

A compilation of poems destined to pierce your heart again and again, and made to open the wound you thought was healed along time ago. It is a compilation of poems about life, love, lost, hurt, hope, and everything in between. It is a compilation of poems for everyone that got over the hurt, or hurting, or going to hurt; for everyone that lost the hope, hoping and will continue to hope; for everyone that got lost, still lost and will be lost- it is for everyone, it is for you and me.

“You can be in love and you can be in a relationship. But they’re not always the same thing.”

Some of the poems are words that I tried so hard to suppress and ignore, but now it was written and you know, and now you can have an idea of the pain I was through, and is still here but barely aching anymore. However, I know, that some of the poems are for you too. And now, I have an idea of how much you’re hurting, and I am so sorry. I am sorry for the both of us who are trying to make it day after day.

I like the photos accompanying the poems, those gave another vibe and atmosphere for the readers. It made the feelings more intense, and, I am guilty for the feelings I had for this book too.

“Love, at every opportunity you are given. Be less afraid. Embrace each day (none are promised). Cry when you need to, it’ll make you feel better. You were put on this planet to feel every feeling you could, do that. Everything works out in the end, I promise.”

Reading this is like seeing myself during the most down of my days, and how I badly wanted to let the hurt and words pour out but I can’t because suddenly my gaze went blurry because instead of the words, the tears came out first. And to tell you honestly, I am glad I got over the hurt, being lost and losing hope.

The story is a must-read. It’s a story of you and me, and every penny would be worth to read the words you wanted to say out loud even way before this book was published. I am pleased I have this book, and I know, so are you.
